Specifically, the Egbema West AG GHF is designed to produce 8 MMScf\/d of gas.<\/p>\n<p>The Egbema West fields is located in OML-20, some 75 km North of Port Harcourt and the existing Egbema-West flowstation, commissioned in 1974 comprises of a single bank, three stage 30Mbpd oil and gas separation facility. <\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"card  sp-ea-single\"><h3 class=\"ea-header\"><a class=\"collapsed\" data-sptoggle=\"spcollapse\" data-sptarget=\"#collapse12071\" href=\"\"><i class=\"ea-expand-icon fa fa-plus\"><\/i> Scope<\/a><\/h3><div class=\"sp-collapse spcollapse \" id=\"collapse12071\" data-parent=\"#sp-ea-1207\"><div class=\"ea-body\"> <p>The Egbema West AG Solution Gas Handling Facility is designed to gather and compress the existing flow-station LP and HP gas (ca. 8MMscf\/d), treat the gas to required sales gas specification and deliver it at 42-43 barg to the NDPHC owned EIPP pipeline.<\/p>\n<p>The Project Scope includes Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning for:<\/p>\n<p>Main Process Skids<br \/>\n\u2022 Gas Compressor Unit<br \/>\n\u2022 Inlet Scrubber Unit<br \/>\n\u2022 Refrigeration Unit.<br \/>\n\u2022 Glycol Unit.<br \/>\n\u2022 Gas Metering Unit<br \/>\n\u2022 HCDP Control Skid.<br \/>\n\u2022 Fuel Gas Unit.<br \/>\n\u2022 Instrument Air Unit.<br \/>\n\u2022 Flare Unit.<\/p>\n<p>Others<br \/>\n\u2022 Power Generators.<br \/>\n\u2022 MCC + Switchgear + UPS Package.<br \/>\n\u2022 90 Days Reliability Run.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"card  sp-ea-single\"><h3 class=\"ea-header\"><a class=\"collapsed\" data-sptoggle=\"spcollapse\" data-sptarget=\"#collapse12072\" href=\"\"><i class=\"ea-expand-icon fa fa-plus\"><\/i> Project Design Objective<\/a><\/h3><div class=\"sp-collapse spcollapse \" id=\"collapse12072\" data-parent=\"#sp-ea-1207\"><div class=\"ea-body\"> <p>The design for the Egbema West AG GHF Project consistent with:<\/p>\n<p>- Eliminating flaring of the gas produced from the flowstation.<br \/>\n- Supporting operability, maintainability and reducing NPDC\u2019s OPEX.<br \/>\n- Supporting sustainable development of host community.<br \/>\n- Giving due focus to HSSE standards.<br \/>\n- Standardizing design template and equipment packages such that they can be modularised and be adapted for other locations.<br \/>\n- The needs for operational integrity throughout the projected minimum 30 years life cycle of the Facilities.<br \/>\n- The requirements of the gas customers, as specified in the gas sales contracts.<br \/>\n- Meeting the requirements of high availability, cost effective operations, minimum maintenance and environmental sustainability.<br \/>\n- Minimisation of site work to reduce exposure of personnel and equipment by driving off-site pre-fabrication and pre-commissioning of equipment packages.<br \/>\n- Designs to allow parts of the project to be fabricated and\/or constructed as much as possible in Nigeria by Nigerian companies.<br \/>\n- Low operator intervention and minimised use of consumables.<br \/>\n- Optimum use of existing utilities and infrastructure.<br \/>\n- Flexibility with respect to future development scenarios.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"card  sp-ea-single\"><h3 class=\"ea-header\"><a class=\"collapsed\" data-sptoggle=\"spcollapse\" data-sptarget=\"#collapse12073\" href=\"\"><i class=\"ea-expand-icon fa fa-plus\"><\/i> Engineering<\/a><\/h3><div class=\"sp-collapse spcollapse \" id=\"collapse12073\" data-parent=\"#sp-ea-1207\"><div class=\"ea-body\"> <p>Front End Engineering Design (FEED)<br \/>\nFEED completed to SHELL DEP by PROPAK. Oversight functions (review and approval functions) were provided primarily by MAKON and ultimately by SPDC-NPDC. All HAZOP report recommendations and action points completely closed out.<\/p>\n<p>Detailed Engineering Design (DED):<br \/>\nDED being executed to International Standards and has progressed to 6% completion. MAKON and ENERFLEX will be responsible for the design and fabrication of the process-related equipment with SPDC-NPDC performing the oversight functions of reviewing documents& drawings and giving approvals.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"card  sp-ea-single\"><h3 class=\"ea-header\"><a class=\"collapsed\" data-sptoggle=\"spcollapse\" data-sptarget=\"#collapse12074\" href=\"\"><i class=\"ea-expand-icon fa fa-plus\"><\/i> Procurement<\/a><\/h3><div class=\"sp-collapse spcollapse \" id=\"collapse12074\" data-parent=\"#sp-ea-1207\"><div class=\"ea-body\"> <p>As a result of the direct derivative of the FEED and DED, Procurement is divided into Major Equipment and Materials (Foreign Long Lead Items and Overseas Bulk items) and Minor Equipment and Materials (Local procurements). Detailed design of process packages are still ongoing and fabrication is yet to proceed.<\/p>\n<p>Fabrication work will be succeeded by Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), with the Clients SPDC-NPDC and other regulatory bodies such as NAPIMS and DPR in attendance. The procurement\/fabrication of other skids and Utility vessels will be done in due course. As a NCD requirement, METS plan to fabricate various components and tanks locally.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"card  sp-ea-single\"><h3 class=\"ea-header\"><a class=\"collapsed\" data-sptoggle=\"spcollapse\" data-sptarget=\"#collapse12075\" href=\"\"><i class=\"ea-expand-icon fa fa-plus\"><\/i> Construction and Installation<\/a><\/h3><div class=\"sp-collapse spcollapse \" id=\"collapse12075\" data-parent=\"#sp-ea-1207\"><div class=\"ea-body\"> <p>Being a green field project, the Egbema West AG GHF Project will involve heavy construction activities. Collectively, a summary of the scope of construction activities for the AG facilities includes but not limited to:<\/p>\n<p>- Site survey and Geotechnical studies<br \/>\n- Mobilization and Transport activities<br \/>\n- Surcharge Removal<br \/>\n- Mobilisation of Piling Works<br \/>\n- Piling and Installation of Pile casings in their required positions<br \/>\n- Prefabricate and install reinforcements on the installed piled casings<br \/>\n- Pile cap Construction of foundations as required for Piled Equipment<br \/>\n- Construction of raft foundation for skid and others as per AFC drawings<br \/>\n- Foundation for Equipment (piled)<br \/>\n- Construction of Temporary\/ Permanent Site Access Roads within the facility<br \/>\n- Precast of Storm water drains.<br \/>\n- Precast of Pipe\/Cable Sleepers.<br \/>\n- Fabrication & Installation of Cable Tray Steel Works on Sleepers.<br \/>\n- Several Excavation, Blinding & Installation activities.<br \/>\n- Pipe Rack Foundation.<br \/>\n- Precast Equipment Foundation.<br \/>\n- Piling for Equipment Foundations.<br \/>\n- Excavation & Installation of Precast Storm Water Drains.<br \/>\n- Pour Concrete & Install Rebar for Equipment.<br \/>\n- Installation of Precast Foundation.<br \/>\n- Concrete Road Works (All Areas).<br \/>\n- Erection of process skids, vessels and Equipment unto foundations.<br \/>\n- Installation of various instrument valves and fittings.<br \/>\n- Laying of instrument cables plant-wide.<br \/>\n- Installation and Hook-up of Electrical Buildings.<br \/>\n- Installation of Electrical Cables
